Dermal Fillers & Facial Rejuvenation
in Bellevue, WA!
When people think about using filler and other facial rejuvenation techniques to achieve smoother, more youthful-looking skin, they don’t always associate those services with their dentist. While it may seem strange to have these treatments completed by your primary dental care provider, dentists are actually very knowledgeable when it comes to facial muscles and how they work together. Dr. Cheong has also completed special training to provide very efficient and effective Botox and dermal filler services.

How do Botox and dermal filler work?
Filler treatments involve injecting hyaluronic acid into areas of the face that have lost volume over time. By adding this gel-like substance just underneath the surface of the skin, the face becomes firmer, which reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Our Botox treatments safely and temporarily paralyze certain facial muscles to prevent wrinkles from occurring, especially around the eyes and forehead.
What should I do post-treatment?
It’s important that you keep your head elevated and avoid bending over and doing anything too strenuous, including exercising. You will also want to abstain from touching or rubbing your face too much for at least 24 hours after your appointment as well, as this can cause the Botox or filler to be moved out of place. Other than some minor bruising or swelling, it should not be too noticeable that you just received a facial rejuvenation treatment, and there is no downtime required for these treatments, so you are free to return to your normal schedule.
How long do these treatments last?
Our facial rejuvenation services can last anywhere from three to six months, and we recommend that patients wait a few months in between treatments for the best results. It can take up to a week to see the full results of your treatment, so if you have a big event coming up, we’d advise you to schedule your Botox and/or filler services at least a week in advance. In general, the more treatments that are scheduled, the longer patients tend to be able to go in between treatments.Contact Us
